Our vision

We need to make a change, all of us.

Humanity faces its biggest challenge yet. We need to adjust our way of producing and consuming goods and services in order to become more sustainable.

It is necessary to reduce the negative impact consumption has on our climate, our environment, and our health.

The Yaytrade Manifesto

  1. Give yesterday’s fashion new tomorrows
  2. Challenge the industry by doing things differently
  3. Rebels stand up for what they believe
  4. Always emphasize your team - they’re the key
  5. Karma is a bitch friend

Our declaration of intention testifies to our commitment to our planet and its people.

Motivated by United Nations Sustainability Goal 12, Yaytrade endeavours to positively affect the fashion world by extending the life of clothes and lifestyle items.

  • We make it easy for our community to buy, sell, and swap second hand articles
  • Sustainable brands avoid destroying outgoing stock by selling on Yaytrade
  • Ambassadors give new life to promoted items while donating proceeds to charitable causes

The United Nations Goal 12

The UN’s Sustainable Development Goals are “a call to action by all countries - poor, rich, and middle-income - to promote prosperity while protecting the environment”.

Goal 12 states that “urgent action is needed to ensure that current material needs do not lead to the overextraction of resources or the degradation of environmental resources, and should include policies that improve resource efficiency, reduce waste and mainstream sustainability practices across all sectors of the economy.”
