Urban Collective works exclusively with sustainable materials such as bamboo, recycled wool, and organic materials. They pack their products primarily in biodegradable plastics that turn into biomass after two years. Their endeavour to manufacture great products is reflected in the superior quality which enables them to offer durable products that can be used for a long time to come.
– “Nowadays, customers expect more transparency, so it seems like everyone in the industry is moving their positions forward. The drivers behind the development work are several brands that are well advanced in their sustainability efforts. We want to contribute to a development through long-term collaborations to be able to share experiences between brands and future designers”.
What designers are you currently working with?
– “Our first designer collection was a collaboration with Raul Magdaleno. Raul is a young, promising designer from New York whose collection received an award at the ELLE Decoration Swedish Awards 2019 for his selection of materials, the manufacturing process and modern design”.
During this year, we can look forward to more exciting collaborations at Urban Collective. Karl has revealed that a large international hospitality brand is one of the interesting projects they are currently working on. For the time being, he can’t reveal more than this, but he encourages those who are interested to follow Urban Collective and Yaytrade on social media to be the first to hear the news.
